The last few weeks had been pretty hectic for Ashley. Lauren had become a bigger part of the show so she had to be on set more, and while it was nice to have a pretty steady job at the moment, it also meant working longer hours than she was used to. She also was in the recording studio doing harmonies on some songs, but then Ryan told her she was getting a song and that was a stress level all its own.
Being the weekend, Ashley wanted to get out and have fun, unwind a little bit. She was glad that Naya had agreed to come out with her. They had fun on set, but it would be nice to hang out without work in the way. Once they had their plan, she got dressed for the night and went to her car. She made the quick trip to Naya’s house and when she got there, sent off a text that she was out front.
Between work and doing normal every day stuff, Naya’d been keeping herself busy. Of course, everyone needed a break now and then, and spending time with Ashley seemed like a good idea. The two of them were;n necessarily that close, but Naya really wanted to change that a bit, get to know her more and whatnot. It’s be nice, just the two of them. It’d be nice being 1x1 without having to be filming argument scenes.
Naya tugged on some skinny jeans, and a shirt with extra long sleeves. It was warm out, but her arms looked awful. She glossed her lips, and smiled when she saw Ashley’s text. She slid on some flats, and grabbed what she needed before going outside, locking the door behind her. She ran over to the car, climbing in the passenger side. “Hey Ashley… We’re gonna have fun tonight”
“Yeah we are!” Ashley said. She leaned over and gave Naya a side-hug. She glanced at the woman’s outfit but shrugged it off. “So. Where to?” she asked, pulling away from the house. “House of Blues and The Terrace are my go-to’s, but I heard about this great new place called Barracuda if you wanted to check that out.” She grinned over at the woman, glad to have some company.

I’m going home tomorrow for the long weekend and coming back monday. We’re leaving around 1-ish tomorrow so depending on traffic I should be home between 5 and 7. Sunday I’m seeing Starkid (FDGAFRSHTRJYDYRRTJYKE) so I won’t be on a whole lot then. Monday we’re coming back around 8 am (gross, I know) so I should be home between 12 and 2. I’ll be on between then though!
